BethAnn Boudah Chapman Attorney

BethAnn Boudah Chapman (“Beth”) has practiced law in Juneau for over 30 years in the areas of estate planning, probate, trust law, and business law. She is an elected fellow and former state chair of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (, holds an “AV” rating from Martindale Hubbell Law Directory and is listed in Super Lawyers. Beth received her BA from Saint Michael’s College and her JD from the University of Oregon School of Law and was inducted into the Order of the Coif.

Practice Areas

Ms. Chapman’s practice includes:

  • Complex estate planning, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trust, asset protection trusts, life insurance trusts, dynasty trusts, and community property trusts
  • Probate and trust administration, including trust decanting and trust modifications
  • Long-term care, guardianships and special needs planning
  • Charitable planning including use of donor-advised funds and charitable trusts
  • Planning for unique assets, including Alaska fishing quotas and restricted properties
  • Business formation and succession planning

Professional and Community Involvement

Beth is admitted to practice in the state and federal courts of Alaska. She is a current member and past co-chair of the Alaska Bar Association’s Probate and Estate Planning section and a member of the American Bar Association Real Property and Probate Section. She has served on the Board of Directors for many local charitable organizations. Beth participates in the Alaska Pro Bono program to provide legal assistance to low-income Alaskans. When not working, Beth enjoys hiking, fishing and traveling with her family.
